Annual Open Days
(1) Support for the participants
OSD offers the following support for students with disabilities participants in the University’s Open Days (Open campus). The detailed information for students who would like to apply for support is stated in paragraph (3).
- Access to information support for visually and hearing impaired students: transcribing to Braille and magnification of the distributed documents, speech-to-text transcription service, and sign language interpreting.
- Mobility support for visually and physically impaired students
(2) The support system for students with disabilities briefing session and consultation corner
At the last day of the Open campus, the support system for students with disabilities briefing session and consultation corner will be set up. First, a brief informative summary regarding the support system at the university will be given, after that consultation corner for each disability type is available for further consultation.
(3) Participating application
For those who want to attend the Open campus please fill in the application form at the university’s official website. There is a special entrance specified for students with disabilities. Preliminary consultation for students with disabilities who are applicant for admission
Students with disabilities who need special adjustments during examination or any other special arrangements should consult the admission administration in advance for detailed information. Please see the official website of University of Tsukuba.
